Welcome to my blog
After years of using Dreamwidth, and before that LiveJournal, I am in the process of moving myself here to a GitHub pages blog presence. Why? Because I fell in love with the note-taking and organising program, Obsidian in 2024 and have switched to doing all of my writing there. When I found out that it is possible to turn an Obsidian vault into a web page, I decided to give it a try.
I got this blog working on 2025-12-02, but at that point this Obsidian vault contained only what I had written in Obsidian in the first place (both the ones I had published to Dreamwidth and a handful of draft posts that had never been published before creating my GitHub home).
I have copied into Obsidian everything I had published to Dreamwidth for 2025 brom before I opened this Obsidian vault. I would like to eventually go back and import all of older Dreamwidth posts from previous years, too. In the meantime, anyone who is curious about my older adventures and day to day existence can head over to Dreamwidth to look at my older posts.
Over time, I am gradually adding other catagories of information to this web page, and it is my hope to eventually consolidate all of the various types of records and logs I have collected. I don’t know if anyone else will ever want to look at it, but it makes me happy.
In addition to the navigation bar on the left, or the index below, you can also use the graph view to navigate through my posts by zooming in clicking on entries there. connections in the graph view show those posts with shared tags, or when I link from one post to another.
