It took a few weeks between first getting 2025-12-02 a blog version of this journal kinda working, and then breaking it, but it is finally fixed again: https://riiac.github.io/Kareinas-blog/
It contains more posts than I have put on Dreamwidth, and way, way more photos. However, it is still only this year, so far.
There are also lots more links that needs adding, and I have to get the rest of the properties showing, but at least I am back to square one again.
And, after more fussing, I may even have the vault looking better.
After writing the above and posting it to Dreamwidth I decided to also push it to my blog, so it will be up to date. But thst Obsidian file took really long to open.
So I checked the properties of the folders and that vault is much larger than the work vault, which makes no sense, as there aren’t so many blog posts, yet. Looked closer, and the heaviest part of the vault turns out to be the .git folder.
Consultation with ChatGtp gave some possible solutions, but, so far, I haven’t successfully solved it.
Eventually I needed to pee, and while away from the computer checked with Keldor, who was finally awake, so we played a game of Qwirkle over breakfast (I won), and then resumed the great workshop cleaning project we started on Thursday.
I am doing one hard task: sorting and organising all the screws, nails, bolts, etc. Into the wall mounted drawers we put up a month or several back for exactly this purpose.
He is doing the showier job, cleaning and organising the workshop itself, and mounting the new drill press we got from Torunn.
Then we spent the eving on the sofa, me working on my Silk bliaut short tunic, while a cartoon (Rapunzel), played.
Eventually I realised it was getting late and did my yoga and we came to bed. Now he’s already asleep, and I feel like I could join him.
