- Woke 07:31
- Quick breakfast
- pack (nothing prepacked yesterday)
- quick second breakfast
- finish packing and loaded the car by 09:31
- 09:50 Started driving
- 10:03 paused for not a rune stone (as I said on FB: This morning when we left site we checked to see if there were any rune stones in the area that were easy to get to. Nope, all well off the road in a forest, and it would have taken too long to get there. So we contented our selves with this, which is not as pretty as a rune stone, but was directly on the road, conveniently near a stop sign (so we were slowing down anyway), with ample parking)

- First pee stop 12:04, Västerås
- didn’t get on E4 at Gävle due to toad closure on the highway that the GPS knew about, so instead had a pretty drive through some nice countryside we hadn’t seen before
- second stop Tönnebro 14:45, where Keldor had a burger while I did a 10 minutes standing yoga session. Þórólfr was otherwise occupied.
- 15:23 back on road
- 16:55 stop at Sundsvall
- 18:06 crossed Högakustenbrön into Norrland

- 18:38 Skuleberget
- 20:33 Umeå
- 21:47 home
We transferred Þórólfr’s stuff to his car, and got his scroll out of my chest where we had packed it for safe travel, and he set off for his house as we brought in the last few things and unpacked the essentials (food into fridge, pillows onto bed).
Just before we reached Lövånger we saw Northern Lights out the car window:
So we took a couple of minutes to walk over to the nature reserve and see if they were still out. They were! Low on the northern horizon, a band across the sky.

Even with that distraction, we were ready for bed by around 23:00, happy to be home. (And happy that Rizza had cleaned the house while we were gone! It is truly wonderful to be in a position where I can pay someone to do thst for me, instead of needing to budget the time and energy to do it myself.)
