Started the morning with our fortnightly sister’s call. Amber couldn’t make it, as this is the weekend they are moving from San Francisco to Seattle, but the rest of us were there. Beth is enjoying having Anahi home this weekend, not that she’s seeing her much, as the excuse for the visit was Anahi’s boyfriend’s 21st birthday, so she’s been spending more time with him than at the house. Beto is training for another 100 mile mountain run, which will take him around 35 hours to complete. I know how brutal a 12 hour road trip as a passenger can be, I don’t even want to imagine 35 hours awake, running the whole time! But he seems to enjoy them. Kirsty and Mike will soon be leaving for their three week vacation in Vietnam, and are looking forward to that. Caspar and his friend he’s been spending time with have finally decided that they are officially a couple. Kirsty says she seems nice, but is shy, so she hasn’t had much of a chance to get to know her, yet. I filled them in on renovation progress and last weekend’s road trip.

Then I went back to sleep for a much needed 2 hour nap, getting up on time to zoom in to Frostheim’s annual meeting. Then I lost a fun game of Qwirkle to Keldor, one in which I twice managed to get double quirkles, but he still came out 13 points ahead.

I painted the foam that holds my chamber pot in place in my new camping toilet in progress.

In the early evening Hjalmar sent a second draft of his job application letter, so I sat down to the computer to read that, and since I am here, finished up the work I started yesterday filling in old renovation projects, like the Waterproof the downstairs bathroom, and updating the list of registered people for the event.
