We had planned to a fighter practice with Aeirin, since we had taken her armour home from Nordmark Coronet for her, so she wouldn’t have to carry it on the train home. So the thought was that if she was going to drive all the way here to pick it up, it was a good chance to practice. Alas, she got sick, so we have postponed to next weekend, and instead we accomplished a few things that may not have happened if we had armoured up.
- Cleaned away a fair bit of scrap left in the attic from the contractor’s building of the room
- went to town to buy more wallpaper glue to replace the box that I thought was in the cellar last week when I turned off the heat in the toilet room in progress before we took our roadtrip. It wasn’t. Freezing and thawing isn’t good for that sort of glue. Nor for its plastic bucket. I can’t recommend leaving it in a room that freezes.
- found a second hand store we didn’t know about, which is open on Sundays. Bought a wool cover for the rocking chair, and a blue glass jar
- bought some fresh veg, and cooked a batch of Veg with spicy peanut sauce.
- used the new glue to finish putting up the last of the fiberglass wall paper in the loo in progress.
