I woke at 7:30 ish and finished updating my log from yeasterday. When I got to the bit about sending messages on used cars I realised I should check messages, and yes,
A reply came in during the night from the other car we messaged asking for an offer, so we sent one. No reply before Keldor managed to find an old Saab on FB marketplace.

Now we just need to repack and see if it will get us home.
First runestone stop
Runsten Nä11, L1980:4067, Stora Mellösa 80:1, Örebro, is a cute runestone built into a stone wall around someone’s house.
But I think I will need to trace it to figure out what the art is.
I was doing a video call with the person who will stay with the cats when I am in Ireland just as we arrived, so Aliçia got to be included in the selfie.

Second runestone stop
Runsten Nä12, L1981:8316, Stora Mellösa 32:1, Örebro
Is a lovely pink granite stone. There is another runestone inside the church, but it wasn’t open, so we missed that one.

and a treuddan
L1980:3563 Stora Mellösa 14:2
This is Närkes largest trident grave, an unusual grave form, with large stones marking a triangular boundry. This one dates to sometime between 800 to 1050 AD, so is at least 50 years younger than the church it sits next to.

Continuing north
The next real stop was in Sala, to buy icecream and snacks for the drive.
