I slept till 09:30, and then updated yesterday’s log. Keldor went to the archery range, where he lost the Drachenwald Archery Challenge baldric to Elisa in a game of 21 (Yannik accidentally shot 22, so he was out—it is hard to hit the edge of the target when one is used to aiming at the middle).
Before I knew it, it was already 11:00, and my tummy was demanding breakfast, and my body wishing for better shade than the double walls of this modern tent.
So I got up, nibbled a little breakfast, and spent some time wandering from one shady area to another, chatting with people. I chatted (in Swedish) with Maggie. I chatted with Kolskeggr and Kethla, who are from Sweden, but live in Ireland. Kolskeggr hand-sewed their cute little tent.
I chatted with Elisabeth de Rossignol and Gera Gangolffin. Gera, who is apprentice to Aryana (to whom I was once apprenticed), showed me photos of their stone house in France. A chatted with Angharad, setting up dor the Intro to Bilauts class (later, I dropped by the end of that class).
Eventually, I got hungry and went back to the tent for food, ate a bit, looked at the schedule, noticed that Rodrigo was doing a class in the tower on things to think about if you want to be a bard that had started a few minutes before so I joined that.
After class Keldor was done fighting, and we let Maggie feed us fritters, and admired the banner flying over the tower.
Then we went to court, where Aodhan dha Cheist had a beautiful Pelican ceremony, other people got well deserved awards, and we sent Meadhbh Rois Ineagh Ui Chaoimh to vigil for Laurel (the vigil itself is happening during the day tomorrow).
After court I joined the An Tir contingent for a group photo in front of the tower (having twice lived in An Tir), then chatted with a few more people before heading to the Cafe for polyfonic singing.
After singing, around 22:00, Keldor found me, he was on his way to bed. I considered joining him, but Alisa waved me over, so I joined her and Telnor in conversation, till Telnor was ready to sleep.
Then I went to the loo, and considered heading to bed, but I saw some people sitting at a table, joined them and talked to Farraige for quite a while. Then I thought I should go to bed, and started heading towards the loo first, but heard Alina Rose’s voice, and so stoped to chat with Alina and Ellisa a bit.
Then Erin asked me if I had a blanket that Ingemar could borrow. I didn’t, but did loan them my wool muff, then stayed and talked to Ingmar and Cedric till around 00:30, after which I finally actually got ready for bed and crawled into my nice Keldor-warmed bed.
After half an hour of not sleeping, I typed up today’s adventures, and then ran to the loo again before finally gping to sleep a bit after 02:00.
