Keldor opted to sleep in, so we got up at 06:00, I drove him to work, went home, took a nap, got up, did a quick pilates session, grabbed my helmet, computer and sewing, took the cat sitter to the airport, then went Keldor’s dad’s house for another nap.

Just before we left for the airport this morning DHL delivered Bryan’s Robot lawn mower that he ordered to take care of his lawn since he won’t be here till August. However, it was delivered yesterday, too, so I was confused. (Many hours later, after coming home this evening, we noticed that yesterday’s delivery was the garage/holder and today’s was the lawn mower itself. That makes more sense than two of the same thing being sent).

After dropping Aliça off at the airport I drove to Skelleftehamn, where I took a 1.5 hour nap, and then proceeded to scroll on FB till Keldor came in needing a nap. He asked me to wake him in a half an hour, so I used the time to make a quick pot of soup.

After we had eaten we headed out to his workshop, where we did step 1 of transforming my helmet to work like Helga’s, cutting off the original face plate:

Later, he will make hinged cheek plates that are such a good fit I won’t need a chin cup.

Then started trying to clean all of the tape marks off of the top of his “new” car. We have no idea what decorations the previous owner had up there that they deemed important to remove before trying to sell it, but the fact that it still had on the rear-view mirrors little red and black crosses of the sort that German WWI Flying Aces used (and which we removed directly) triggers a few suspicions.

We got some of the tape off before the arrival of his friend, who needed quick help with a project. In Sweden there is a category of car called “A-traktor” that is old cars, modified such that it can’t go faster than 30 kph, and it is possible for teens who are too young to get a normal driver’s licence get a licence for an A-traktor. However, one of the rules for A-traktor, left over from the days when they were actually used as a farm work vehicle, and not a car for teens, is that they must have a box in back to carry a load.

So Keldor made them a quick metal box and attached it to the back end of the kid’s A-traktor, and they were happy. The box is similar in size to a planting box to hang outside a house window, so we suggested that he stick some plastic flowers back there. Keldor suggested also adding death skulls, as he has death skulls between the flowers in our window.

After that was accomplished Keldor quickly attached a temporary metal band to function in place of the missing inside door handel on his car, until he can get around to fixing it properly, after which we picked up some groceries, went home and put away a few things, and suddenly it was already 20:00.

So I sat to the computer to “quickly” update my blogs, but it was well after 22:00 before I finished attaching my photos from the Double Wars LSPD, and I didn’t even start the photos from the Strawberry Raid LSPD. But it was feeling late, so I pushed that much through Github to my blog, and started doing before bed chores, including unpacking my backpack so I could pack the computer for tomorrow, and suddenly it is 23:30, and I should do yoga and head to bed (Keldor fell asleep on the couch long ago).
