2020-07-05 after first session for the day it was still only about 17 mm deep. Added a new circle; next session I can make the center a little wider as well as deeper. Later that same day i went back out and added a new set of spiral groves and just as I was thinking of going in for the night David came out from the forge with a new curved tool that turns out to be perfect for quickly removing the spirial ridges i prep for filing smooth and starting a new set of spiral groves.
