I spent part of my workday trying to upgrade Quartz 4 to 5 for my work blog. it took a while, but I eventually got past the errors (see my work notes for Quartz for details). However, the customisation I had done is now lost, so it no longer shows the file properties in the front matter. I haven’t pushed any of the changes to github, because those properties are essential for the SEAD structure part of the blog, so I will try to not do that till I solve the problem.
After work Keldor was so tired he took a long bath, while I did a second coat of paint on the wall over the old door in the cellar. Then I did my yoga early, and met Þórólfr in Zoom to create the invoice we need to send to the bank before they will pay their sponsorship for the jousting at Medieval days. Then I spent much too long going through the rest of the financial paperwork from the event, paying the rest of the invoices we have the cash on hand to cover, and creating the profit/loss report that Þórólfr needs to prepare the report he has to turn in to the Municipality before they will pay for their part of the event. Once they do, we will be able to afford the two big bills: the jousting, and the monk who kept visitors playing period board games and listening to stories all weekend.
I had hoped for an early bed time today, but here it is, 23:00 already. Oops.
