morning
Got up, packed our stuff, helped with cleaning the site, and eventually followed Joni to the local bronze age burial mounds
excursion
We went to “Rautakautinen-Muinaisjäännösalue”, or a local Iron Age archaeological site with Joni, an archaeologist at the Tornio Museum (and one of the Gränstaverna event autocrats).

drive home, with detour
Dropped Tristyn and Lexie off at Haparanda train station, started driving towards home, got a call from them that their planned train route had issues, and could they please come stay with us instead? Yes, of course, so we went back for them.
Tristyn armoured up
Tristyn armoured up for the first time, and took to it like a fish to water, and radiated joy for every second

a gift made
After we came back in, and they both had a shower, Keldor suggested that since it is rare to find someone with a small enough head to fit i to my old Bacinet helmet, we should give it to Tristyn. Having seen his joy at fighting, and knowing that his budget is limited, we did, and after Lexie checked to be certain that it could count as his “personal item” when going through airport security, he accepted.
a popular visitor
While Tristan showered after fighting, Lexie took the opportunity to become the most popular person in the house
