The first house I ever owned! And the one I lived in for the longest period of time. More than nine years!

David and I bought it together, and I truly love this place. Rutviksreveln 59 is a house built in 1966, on a 2.3 hecter property, with several out buildings.

Whomever built the house shares my philosophy on how a house should be situated. The front door and picture windows face further onto the property, across the field and down towards the water at the property edge, and Nature reserve beyond the property, not towards the road. (However, the kitchen window does face the road, so you can keep an eye out for expected guests while preparing food.)

Down on the far side of the field, nicely surrounded by trees, is the black currant patch. If one can use the word “patch” for a plot of land larger than the house covered with berry buches. While I am still welcome to come pick as many berries as I like, the two hour drive to get there complicates it.
