I got to bed at 02:00, and was grateful to have the hot water bottle, as I had gotten rather cold even sitting in the hall talking to Maggie, Madelenia, and others after yoga.

At 04:00 I was woken by a Keldor-sized block of ice that crawled into bed, so I put the still kinda warm (but way, way warmer than him) hot water bottle between us in self defense and tried to warm him, without touching his arms, which were even colder than his body. Of course, the non-commutative ice-block kept trying to put those cold arms against my warm body. Poor thing.

After he had warmed up to tepid I left the blankets long enough to pee, and then curled back up with him and slept till 09:30, when he woke needing to head to the loo.

I woke to notifications on my phone, one of which opened FB, where I saw a post by Countess Agness showing various Pride flags, and offering to make necklaces in those colours if people are interested.

I would be, but the ones that aren’t rainbow that could apply to me are in colour schemes that don’t appeal to me. I need to design a nontrinary flag in colours that I like, and then see if anyone else feels like they could identify that way.

I took the day as a relax and be social in camp day, and didn’t attend any official activities other than court.

The camp had one miss adventure. I had just returned from filling my water picture and placed it on the table, when suddenly the bench upon which Þórólfr was sitting made a loud cracking noise, and the back support fell, and he fell backwards, feet rising up, which knocked the table sowly over, causing everything on it to slide to the ground.

Luckily, he wasn’t hurt, and nothing on the tabel broke, though my water picture is chipped. Keldor fixed the broken bench an hour or so layer when he returned to camp.

I helped Petronlia fix the fitting of a wool over dress, and helped Erin mark and cut the hem on her skirt. I started also hemming the skirt, till Felicitas complained about having eyelets to sew, and I volunteered to trade projects. So during court I sewed lacing point eyelets in the tops of felicitas’s new hose, and Felicitas worked on Erin’s hem.

Pre-court entertainment was, of course, the reading of the Knäckebröd war story. Then followed Court for both Drachenwald and Nordmark, with one full dozen Royal and Baronial crowns in attendance.

For our camp the highlight was an Award of Arms to Lord Caspian, who celebrated his 14th birthday the day before, but there were many other well deserved awards.

Beig tired, I did my yoga not so long after court, and Keldor and I both went to bed around 23:00.
