I slept in till 09:30, and then made breakfast. There being left over Finnish squeaky cheese from last night, I cooked up a yummy curry for breakfast, using that cheese, the last of my spinach, some nettles, and some of my Instant soup blend. After I had eaten, Keldor claimed the leftovers to start a stew, to which he added the left over wild pig from last night, and to which the others in the camp added the vegetables they hadn’t yet cooked, and even some beef found its way in the pot. They wound up with a big enough batch that everyone in our camp, and a few visitors, got some, and there was still some stew in the pot.

While they started the stew, I went up to choir, and enjoyed singing, especially after Etienne joined the tennors for Turdion, and again when Martin joined us for Come Again. It is nice when there is a strong tenor to follow.

Then back to camp, where we did a little pre-packing that won’t need doing tomorrow, including taking apart the big plywood insulated box the frozen wild pig had travelled in. I leaned the plywood pieces against the tree for the bit of ice melt water to dry out of it.

Then it was time for court, where the biggest award was an argumentation of arms for Margaret de May, especially for her work founding the Drachenwald Law Council.

Alas, choir didn’t get to perform before or during court, which was disappointing. I asked the herald later, and they were trying to save time, but they could have accomplished that by having us sing before court, instead of having us “in reserve”, as possible entertainment if a runner needed to be sent for someone.

Durring court the Princess of Nordmark announced that she was having a birthday party that evening, but I had a hint of something that could be a sore throat coming on, so I skipped the party (not wanting to share if I was getting sick), and went to bed before 22:00. Keldo, being tired, joined me.
