I went to bed just after 22:00 last night, and slept till just after 06:00, and lounged in bed nearly 2 hours updating logs and adding new music folders to my blog structure as Keldor slept, before getting up to do some yoga.

As I finished my yoga Billy was arriving to continue work on the cottage. This week’s project is removing the old layer of render that covers the stone of the main house, which will permit the stone to better breath, and make it last longer.

Sitting in that house and eating breakfast with Tania and Mike, we could hear the noise of the power tool coming through the window frame, though it wasn’t so bad as to really interfere with conversation, it would have been annoying to spend the whole morning listening to it.

However, when I went over to the guest cottage to check on Keldor to see if he was ready to get up for the day’s adventure, the sound was hardly noticeable, and he was still asleep.

A bit later he did get up, and he, Tania, and I took a walk down the to the village of Inistoige, and were out for three hours, returning to quiet as Billy had finished work for the day.

I even sometimes remembered I had a camera, I so can present to you some horses in a field who were not the least interested in coming over to the fence to say hello:

After the walk we had soup for lunch and Keldor and I relaxed on the couch while Tania and Mike practiced for their upcoming concert (I love listening to them!)

Then we set up their new (used) solid oak table with a larger surface area than the one they had been using, and combined the tiles from two sets of Carcassonne, and played a couple of games. Mike warned us that they always win. He was right. However, in the first game I managed second place to Mike’s win. In the second game Tania beat Mike by three points, and I came in third. I really enjoy the game, as one can just focus on “what can I do to improve my own situation” and have fun, even when others are doing better. Much like my approach to life.
