I only worked four hours this morning, but they were very productive hours, and I accomplished a lot.

Then it was lunch and pack the last things, so we were on the road by just after 14:00

Roadtrip ice cream! Broken Arrow, here we come!

Today we tried the new line of ice cream available at Lövånger Saluhall: Holmsunds Glassfabrik ice cream. Keldor had the Brynt Smör (brown butter), and I had the Svartvinbär Sorbet (black currant). Both are really yummy, 100% recommend. And, at 65 g each, a nice serving size.

Then we stopped and put up posters for Skellefteå Medeltidsdagar a couple of places, picked up important stuff the Þórólfr had forgotten at home (thermacell anti mosquito things), and that Keldor had forgotten in his work car (the tent stakes to the tent for the Queen), did grocery shopping for me for the weekend (fruit), and for Keldor’s dad (bread, butter and vegetables) and dropped them off, so it was after 15:30 before we were really on the road.
I didn’t notice the time we arrived, but it would have been between 17:30 and 18:30, given that we stopped in Jävre to use the loo and put up another Medeltidsdagar flyer.

We put my my pavilion directly, then the one for the Queen, then my sunshade.

Then Keldor went to join the archery (the event had started on Wednesday, so today had a full list of activities) As Ii moved in and arranged everything to my liking.

I suspect that I would have done well with a semi nomadic life style, I actually enjoy the part about setting up camp and moving in. I even enjoy the part about arranging things to pack into the car as efficiently as possible afterwards. So it is good that I have SCA camping season to scratch the itch to move. I the winter I have to content myself with just rearranging furniture.

After everything in the tent was perfect I tried to be socialbe for a while, but was feeling tired enough that I went to bed just after 23:00.
