I slept in till after 09:00, and didn’t actually get up till closer to 10:00. Which, given that I hadn’t made arrangements for someone else to attend the Queen for breakfast, may have been a problem. But the sleep felt good.
Luckily for me, Elsa was totally fine with it, having a strong preference for serving herself breakfast so as to get exactly the right amouts, and correct pieces for everything, and let me know that there was a new volunteer for the day’s royal attendant duties. Thus released, I continued my lazy morning with a nap, followed by yoga, before heading out of the pavilion to be socialbe.
I spent the rest of the day working on Caroline’s UFO, while talking with people, or listening to others converse. Iften in English, as there were a number of Finnish speakers present, many of whom prefer English to Swedish.
I didn’t join any of the archery contests, as I was having fun sewing, so I didn’t know till they returned that one of the targets on the 3D archery shoot is a cameleopard, which beast features on the arms of the Queen. The Queen was not amused. Especially as years ago, when they were Prince and Princess of Nordmark, they had proclaimed the cameleopard a protected species throughout Nordmark, and no Prince or Princess since have rescinded that proclamation.
However, the Queen is kind and merciful, so after calling forward the responsible miscreants in court, she charged them to bring to Cudgel War a formal apology, and a tribute to the cameleopard.
I finally finished my renovations to Caroline’s UFO just after midnight, then, after trying it on, went to the hot tub.
