I worked later than I expected to, which is good, as I am thus not as far behind on hours as I would have been. But it was after 14:00 before I had eaten lunch and resumed loading the car.

I knew that Gilbert was scheduled to work till 17:00, so my goal was to try to get the car loaded before he finished, but also knew that it takes 35 minutes to get here from Skelleftehamn, so I had a little extra time to tetris everything in as tightly as possible.

I was close to getting the last of the things from the cellar into the car when he arrived, at 17:00, so I got his help putting the archery target frame on the roof rack, as I got the last of downstairs pile into the car. And the food and ice into the ice chest.

Then we parked in front of the house and I packed the bedding and brought out Keldor’s bows and arrows, and we loaded them in, along with Gilbert’s stuff, which filled thr car.

Then it was only fill my water bottles and grab my sewing, stop at the store for Gilbert snacks, fuel the car, and we were on the road by 19:00.

We took the southern route, inland at Robertsfors and through Lycksele, which is a very pretty drive. Arriving at 23:09, as we were content to do less than the speed limit much of the time.

Asker and Simon had their tent long since set up, so they helped us put up my tent and the geteld.

What a pretty place for them, right on the shore!

Gilbert put his bed into the geteld, and I made my bed, spread some rugs, and put up the inner roof in my pavilion, hung half my inner walls, and decided I was too tired to continue, and went to sleep at 02:20.
