Today is the day I got Quartz Sync working properly for my work blog, and decided to try it for the personal one, too. It isn’t quite working, yet. I gave up and added a “me too” comment at https://github.com/saberzero1/quartz-syncer/issues/134 because I am not the only one getting this.
I did have a scare later in the day, when I opened Obsidian on the phone, first it spent lots of time thinking about it, and then eventually showed me a partially changed version. It showed me the new folder locations (having taken Quartz out of the Obsidian vault, I could move everything that had been living in “content” back up the main vault level), but only some of the folders had files in it at all, and those that did, didn’t have a complete set.
Poking further revealed that Total Commander knew the files where there, and, eventually, I pressed the “rebuild cache” button under Settings > Files and links, and after that it showed everything in Obsidian on the phone. Then I tried opening Obsidian on the computer, and I could type here, and see the text appearing there in pretty much real time.
