Keldor had injured the underside of his foot a while ago, by scraping it against something when he tripped. Yesterday that skin pulled loose, and it hurt enough today that he didn’t go in to work, as he couldn’t face the thought of work boots pressing on it.
This didn’t stop him from making progress on insulating and wall/ceiling building in the attic, while I attempted to work. I can’t claim to have had a productive work day being very tired and low energy, but not quite bad enough to decide to take a sick day.
