I slept in till nearly 09:00, and didn’t drag myself out of bed till 10:00. But by then I felt well rested and ready to do all the things.
We did, too.
- added the gold lines to the Pair of painted boxes.
- moved the unused trim from the Create extra bathrooms project to the attic.
- moved the door we bought to the bathroom, where the trim had been waiting, so we can get to the plywood we need in the attic
- cut the plastic freezer door strips that Keldor brought home this winter to the right lengths to use them to cover the door to the workshop, the garage door, and to replace one of the two doors between the garage and the laundry room, and installed them.
- bought stuff for grilling, including some beef tallow, as Keldor thought it would be nice for basting meat on the grill.
- heated the tallow and strained most of it into some silicon muffin cups to save for other grilling occasions
- put up the cute dragon weathervane thst Keldor bought
- tested Keldor’s Train bbq by grilling zucchini, cheese, and a chunk of beef.
- boiled the bone from dinner with some garlic to make broth for other meals
- painted the window frame in the office window
- cleaned the attic and swt up a guest bed for Gilbert, as Charlotte has the cellar room
After doing all thst, I curled upon the couch and caught up on my journal as the oteres watched films.
