Too much I want to do today to accomplish it all…
Did a little tidying up in the kitchen, and started cutting the decorative lists for the downstairs door before work. Then worked 3.5 hours, till I was both starving, and at a good breaking point, by which time Keldor was awake, so we played a quick game of Qwirkle (I won, just) as I ate lunch.
I spent a bit of time working on cutting the trim for the door to the upstairs loo, and then returned to the computer and got on a few more hours of work, before returning to the door.
Got the trim painted and set asside to dry, cut the foam to fit and taped it into place. Oiled the leather, trimed it to the right size, stapled it into place, and then we used the decorative nails to fasten it in a decorative pattern (I delagated that step to Keldor). Then I pre drilled the screw holes in the trim, and Gilbert helped me screw it into place. We ran out of screws, so the rest will have to wait till we make it to the store, but it was enough to hang the door back up, which is good, as some of the house guests are likely sleeping upstairs this weekend.
