I worked at the office this morning because I had a meeting. After the meeting I decided to head to town and see if the place I got my glasses can do something about my glasses frame, as the left ear piece was sitting funny/wobbly when folded.
It turns out that an inside pin had broken, and the nose piece was missing on the right side (when did that happen? Why didn’t I notice?) So they replaced both earpieces completely. Cost me 200 kr. Worth it, now the frame is nice and solid again.
While I waited for them to fix it, I walked over to the craft store and bought some of the pretty reflective trim for my coat in progress. They didn’t have enough left for the whole hem, but enough to get some of it does, and they will let me know when they get more.
Keldor got home just as my bus was arriving, so he gave me a ride from the bus stop. An hour later we took Cinder, our ladt remaining houseguest from the weekend, to catch her bus home.
As much as love having lots of company, it is also nice to have the house to ourselves.
In the evening, I finally started outting gold paint on the leather pieces that Alfarinn cut for me with their laser cutter. But I ran out of steam before finishing that.
