Having stayed up till after 02:00, I slept nearly six hours before feeling awake enough to contemplate facing the day. Since there was partial cloud cover, and I had opened the tent windows when I ran to the loo sometime after sunrise, and before properly waking, the temperature in the tent was still tolerable to do my yoga in the tent before breakfast.

Then I had time to wander around and chat with people before Meadhbh’s vigil, which took place in the ground floor of the castle. I love daytime vigils, I am able to eat some of the snacks provided, which, since they included fresh blueberries, I was very happt to do.

We three “Frostimetsä” laurels (norra Nordmark/Frostheim and Aarnimetsä), Johanna, Keldor, and I, went in together, as I was the only one of us who had met Meadhbh before.

When we came in, Meadhbh reminded me of the time Kaarina and I visited Ireland for an event in 2018, when Kaarina asked Meadhbh why there was no Irish food on the menu, and Meadhbh replied “come back again, there will be”. She certainly succeeded with that!
