We stayed up rather late, since today is a vacation day, so slept in. We finaly got up, had breakfast and started packing bedding and food. Bryan arrived with his things in good time to get them into the car, and we managed to pack the last things into the car before Gilbert arrived just after noon, and we were on the road by 12:15.
We stopped in Umeå, filled the tank and put air in the tires, and started driving again at 13:45. Short stops at Örnsköldsvik and Skuleberget.
Then a longer stop at the Myre Diner in Njurunda, in all of its 1950’s style diner glory, where Gilbert and Keldor had meals. I wasn’t going to get anything, but Keldor’s Indian food came with garlic naan, and it looked good so I ordered one, too. Bryan wasn’t hungry, yet.
