Having stayed up till 04:15, I slept till after 10:00, which was when breakfast was to be cleared away. However, having brought my own food, I ignored the provided breakfast, and ate some of the Red beet salad I had brought with me instead.
The first part of the morning was chatting and sewing. Then, we went out into the gentle rain to do some practice archery shooting till lunch.
After lunch 13 of us went back out to do an archery contest. Given that a very rarely shoot at all, and never often enough in a row to have figured out what I need to do with my body to hit the target, I am always delighted if I hit the target at all, even if, as in the one photo I took for the day, it is the very very edge of the next target over.
During the feast they announced the day’s winners, Gilbert in second place, and Keldor in first. I was delighted to be in 13th place, as that is my favourite number.
