This morning I got a notification of a comment on the GitHub issue about my Quartz Syncer issues:
I have managed to pin down the issue. The issue was indeed your 2gb+ vault size. Version 2.2.0 will be live shortly.
So I tried updating it, and it worked correctly on the first try!
I will try and see if it also works on the phone, later in the day. The phone is busy being a hotspot during the bus ride.
