I worked about five hours or so, till reaching a reasonable breaking point and switching to packing for the event.
Keldor also finished work a little early so we chatted on the phone as I loaded the car with the chests that had been packed yesterday, plus the mattress. He assembled the hardware on the Indoor event snack box as I gathered sewing projects and tidied up.
Then we took a nap for 30 or 40 minutes before packing pillows and food. Bryan arrived just before 15:00 and got his stuff in the car. We were on road at 15:29, and thus were on site at 16:58.
We set up our mattress under the pool table, as we usually do. This year there was a glass door feom the bookshelf in the hallway laying on the pool table, so I moved it to the storeroom between the two upstairs rooms, standing horizontally against the wall behind the small stack of foam mats, out of the way so it wouldn’t break when someone put something on the pool table.
I had our bed set up, stuff organised, and was dressed well before 18:00.
Then we enjoyed a delightful evening, talking with new friends and old friends, sewing, and singing. I finally made it to bed around 03:00.
