I got up at 06:00 and started packing. Bryan was already up. When I got everything but the bedding and archery stuff ready to go I woke Keldor and checked on Gilbert, who had just finished his packing.

Keldor enjoyed his morning coffee while I got the bedding together, and we alternated loading the car and chatting with people, and finally got on the road at 09:14. We started the road trip home by looking at a few of the runestones between the event and the highway.

the rest of the trip

After we got onto the highway, we only stopped for toilet pauses, petrol (once), and one garsge sale ane one second hand store (no purchaces, but Bryan might have bought some of the very reasonable prices furniture, had there been room fof it).

Everyone got a nap during at least one stretch of driving, and I am the only one who didn’t do at least a short stretch of driving.

a productive evening

We got home at 19:35. Bryan ang Gilbert helped us unload the car before heading on to their respective homes.

At 22:00, when I noticed Gilbert’s “home safe” note, I replied: “I have unpacked pretty much everything washed the empty food boxes, done my yoga, and am about to empty the washer. Then I can go to bed.” I also took time to empty the cat sand after the laundry was hanging.

It was a very productive evening woth which to end a fun weekend
