I woke at 03:00, feeling thirsty, and with slight headache, so I got up, drank some water, took an alvadon, and succeed in going back to sleep. I didn’t want to get up when the alarm went off, but I did anyway, with Keldor’s help and encouragement, and managed to get to the bus on time.
One of my emails was a notification of a new comment on my GitHub case for my problems getting QuartzSyncer working, so I tried the suggested upgrade, and it worked!
Therefore, I also opened this blog, and will try it here, too. First try, not encouraging. Got a Java Script error/crash, so I left a messageon the GitHub issue. Over the course of the day de developer of Quartz Syncer and I exchanged a few messages, and by the end of the work day our hypothesis was the size of the content folder (2 GB in photos), may be the remaining issue in building the cache.
Work was still more administrative tasks than “real work”, but as the day went on I begin to feel more and more back to usual in terms of energy levels, and started really working on daya mapping tasks again right before the Technical Meeting.
After the meeting I got the 15:30 bus home. I really prefer thec14:30. The eatlier bus is two stories, has fewer passsengers, and has an outlet for charging computer/phone. The later is single story, is so full we all need to sit next to someone, and has no charging possibility
evrning projects
After work Keldor made good progress on getting the rest of the insulation in the attic covered with olywwod, and started the door frame to the uninsulated part of the attic, while I got lots of other small tasks accomplished, including:
- wash the cat water fountain and refill the dry food dispenser
- empty the cat sand
- spackel the plywood of the sliding door in the loo
- hang a rug over the doorframe to the uninsulated part of the attic in case it gets cold before we finish i stlling the door and adding insulation to that wall.
