Today after work, Keldor and I made good progress in the attic. He framed up the wall by the door, and I insulated behind it, I spackeled the wall by where the bed will be, and cut the tiny bit of plywood to fit at the top of the wall by the peak of the roof, and once he had the wall in place, I carved out the part of the frame where the door latch will sit.
We can’t screw the metal bit in place yet, as it turns out the entire door frame needs a bit of sanding before the door will close properly, but I am pleased with the result so far.

We still need to create the wall above the door, and finish the door frame:

Then we need to get more plyood to cover the last few bits of uncovered insulation, and make the other door.
